Why is Corporate Prayer Important?
At Grace Toronto, we value prayer because it reminds us that we are dependent on a sovereign God. We experience the joy of being part of God's unfolding story and are strengthened in our faith as we witness His Spirit working among us. Prayer is not just an individual act, but a communal privilege where we, as the body of Christ, gather to seek God’s will, intercede for one another, and give thanks for His faithfulness. It reminds us that we’re not alone in our walk of faith—we have each other, and we have a God who listens. In these moments of shared prayer, we truly experience the joy of being part of something bigger: a covenantal God who loves us deeply and desires to move in and through our lives.
Sunday Pre-Service Prayer
Join us every Sunday morning from 8:45 - 9:05 AM in the St. Andrew's Hall as we pray for the church and the city. No registration necessary, all are welcome!
Monthly Dinner & Prayer
Every 2nd Wednesday of the month we gather together in the St. Andrew's Hall (2nd floor) for dinner and prayer. This is a time of fellowshipping with one another over a meal and then breaking off into groups to pray for our church, city and world. To find more information about the next Dinner & Prayer, visit the events page.
Quarterly Parish Prayer Meetups
Our 4 Parishes (North York, Downtown, East End, West End) host prayer meetups every quarter. This is a time to meet with people in your neighbourhood and pray together. For more information about the next Parish Prayer, visit the events page.
